Special Events!

"J.O.Y" (meaning "Just Older Youth") Group plans monthly socials one Monday each month. The group usually meets in the late morning, goes out to lunch and plans a special social activity depending on the season. Specific details of the activities will be announced as they become available.

The Alpha Course

We are currently in the middle of an Alpha Course.  The next course will start on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. It is open to anyone; you do not have to attend or be a member of the church.  There is no charge to anyone attending. Come the first night and check it out; if it's not what you expected you don't have to come back!  But we thing you will find the experience very rewarding.

The course is designed to be a basic introduction to the Christian faith and is designed to show the relevance of Jesus to our lives today.  But it is more than that; it is a place to explore the meaning of life and ask any question about God, life and the Bible.

It is a ten week course and runs as follows:

  6:30 p.m. - A delicious dinner that is free.

  7:10 p.m. - A talk on the evening's subject like, "Who is Jesus?', "Why

      Did He die?" and other topics.

  7:50 p.m. - A short break and dessert.

  8:00 p.m. - An open discussion ending at 9:00 p.m.
